Is there a left-handed version available?
This model is for right-handed use. For left-handed operation, please choose the INSIZE 1130 Series.
Can this caliper transmit measurement data wirelessly?
Yes. The caliper features a built-in wireless Zigbee transmission module. Measurement data can be sent wirelessly to an optional INSIZE receiver with the press of a button.
Can I connect this caliper to a computer?
Yes. When used with an optional INSIZE receiver (7315-2 or 7315-3), measurement data can be transferred wirelessly for collection and further processing.
What is the wireless transmission range?
The wireless transmission distance is up to 10 meters under ideal conditions with no obstacles or electromagnetic interference.
Does the caliper turn off automatically?
Yes. The caliper automatically powers off after approximately 20 minutes of inactivity to help extend battery life. It can be turned on again by pressing the ON/OFF button or moving the digital unit.
What battery does the caliper use, and how long does it last?
The caliper uses one CR2032 battery. Battery life is typically 3–5 months, depending on the frequency of data transmission.
